Over Carnival 2019 update

We were delighted to welcome a few people to join our committee in Jan'19, but unfortunately not enough to run the Carnival this year.

However, not all is lost.
We will be running a BIG fundraiser on the Green -
Saturday 13th July, 11.30-5.30.
This will be -
'This is NOT the Carnival, but it is the Carnival Picnic'.

Level Up

A diverse mix of guitar-lead rock, including their own material.

The playlist ranges from the 80s to the present day, including Muse, Foo Fighters, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, and Green Day.

Level Up members are:

Danny Moffat (lead guitar), Callum Hawkins (drums), Aidan Gilhart (rhythm guitar), Catherine Gannon (vocals) & Eleanor Taylor (bass).

Extesive set list includes classic tracks from The Jam and The Clash, to the most popular hits from contemporary artists such as The Killers, The Kings of Leon and Plan B.

The current line-up features what many agree is a rather special blend of old style R&B, Classic Rock and Blues with some occasional songs written by the band.

The Familiars

The Familiars play songs from a variety of artists such as: Prince, Snow Patrol, David Bowie, The Zutons, Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, Reef, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Who, James Brown, The Police, Lenny Kravitz, The Killers, Van Morrison, Stereophonics, Stevie Wonder, etc. etc.

2 other bands will be playing acoustic sessions.

Awaiting further info on these bands.
